Who Guides You

Antigoni Siomou

Antigoni grew up in a village of north-west Greece next to mountains, waterfalls, and lakes. It is not a wonder that nature has always been her sanctuary and her greatest inspiration.

She studied English Language, Literature and Culture in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and her MA is on European Literature and Culture. She is an author of two books and she loves learning languages: she knows English, French, Chinese and some Japanese.

Her first encounter with yoga was when she was still a university student – she has to thank her brother for that because he was the one that actually made her take up her first yoga class. She immediately fell in love and her “relationship” with yoga has proved to be a long lasting one. This is is her 11th year as a committed yoga practitioner.

In 2018, she completed her 200hr Teacher Training in Anahata Yoga Academy and in 2023 her 500hr Teacher Training in the same center. She has attended multiple workshops and trainings related to pregnancy yoga, yoga nidra (=“yogic sleep”, deep relaxation), meditation and pranayama (=breathing techniques). She has attended seminars, practiced – and still practicing – with world-wide famous and respectful teachers like Sri Dharma Mittra, Emi Tull, Yiannis Andritsos, Manju Jois, Kristina Karitinou, and Talia Sutra.

Her practice combines many different styles and traditions. It is mostly based on Dharma Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and the Gosh Lineage. It offers sequences that practice discipline and dedication but also practices that are therapeutic, gentle and deeply relaxing.

In 2023-2024, she moved to Thailand for five months and this is how she got deeply interested in Thai Massage. She learned Thai massage in Wat Pho Massage School, the first school in Thailand to teach Thai massage. She studied traditional and therapeutic Thai massage, oil massage and relaxation massage.

Now, she lives in northern Greece once again combining all her knowledge to teach classes, offer massages and organise yoga retreats. Together with her yoga partner, Christina Skarmoutsou, you can find her in a different Greek destination every summer.

Christina Skarmoutsou

Born in Athens in 1988 and raised in the beautiful landscapes of Levadia, Christina’s childhood was shaped by the sounds of water and the quiet strength of the mountains. A natural observer and listener, she discovered her first language in movement, immersing herself in classical and contemporary dance from the age of four until eighteen.

Although she grew up surrounded by comfort, Christina felt an innate calling toward simplicity—a path that naturally led her to Yoga. Her teaching journey began in 2016 (200hr TT), and she has never stopped learning since. Committed to understanding the human body and spirit deeply, she completed her 300hr advanced training in 2017 and has specialized in biomechanics and yoga anatomy under mentors like Tina Zymaraki and through Yoga International.

Christina’s curiosity has taken her around the world, from exchanging knowledge with teachers in the Moroccan desert to studying traditional meditation and breathwork in India (2022). Her diverse skill set also includes Animal Movement (L1, L2), Aerial Yoga, and Korean Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Believing in the healing power of touch, Christina is also a certified practitioner of Thai Massage—honoring its roots in Buddhist teachings—as well as Indian Head Massage and Lymphatic drainage. Today, she combines this vast experience to offer classes defined by flow, harmony, and empathy, helping her students find peace within themselves.
